Hardware Installation/Deployment Technician

Job Responsibilities

Perform installation and support of new Windows based computer systems.

Install Image and software on laptops and workstation

Prepare the computers for deployments and support the deployment activities

Assist with the installation and support of computer systems and peripherals. Coordinates with Management for inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping needs.

Assist in assuring that work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content.

Assist in the development of documentation based on the customer’s processes.

Travel to customer sites and perform deployment activities to include, site surveys, installs hardware, install software, remove hardware, check hardware for shipment etc.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

2 years of experience in Information Technology.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making

Experience in Customer Service

Requires skill with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

Requirements

Must have active interim Secret clearance or above

Must be able to travel at least 25%
