Minimum Requirements:

- Eighteen (18) years of age

- High school diploma or GED

- One (1) year of experience as night sanitation and production supervisor

- Experience or training using a computer to enter, access, and retrieve data

Preferred (not required):

- Bilingual in English / Spanish

- Driver's license

Job Duties:

Responsible for the operation and sanitation of processing equipment in a food processing facility:

- Clean and sanitize parts and equipment

- Keep parts organized by machine

- Notify management of any food safety issue

- Maintain all records and documentation as required and replaces forms as needed

- Understand and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HAACP), Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) and Food Defense policies

- Understand sanitation procedures and follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) for proper equipment cleaning

- Provide information and training on hazardous chemicals at initial assignment and when new chemical hazards are introduced

- Meet productivity expectations, organize tasks, and manage time effectively

- Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and works well with others

- Lift / maneuver up to fifty (50) pounds of products and equipment

- Perform any other duties as assigned

Employer Notes:

- An ideal applicant will be familiar with chemicals, provide excellent leadership, and multitask efficiently

- Work in extreme environmental conditions such as heat, cold and wet conditions

- Will stand, walk, bend, crawl and move around premises the entire shift

- Willing to be trained in chemicals and train other employees

- This employer conducts a drug test, a background check, and a physical exam before first day of employment

Pay / Benefits:

- $18 to $25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications; negotiable

- Medical, vision, dental, sick days and 401 K

* There is a ninety (90) day probationary period; benefits will be offered after probationary period

Hours:

- Fulltime / Swing Shift: Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM; over time as needed depending the employers need

Language skill requirement or preference: Able to speak Spanish preferred. Work force is mainly Spanish and will help with better communications
