Electrical Engineer – Milwaukee

Key Responsibilities:
Assess project requirements, define scope and budget, and collaborate with design teams to determine staffing needs.
Lead electrical design efforts, including defining Owner project requirements, conducting building load calculations, analyzing power distribution systems, sizing equipment, and preparing specifications.
Evaluate and document existing conditions, resolve complex design challenges, and ensure compliance with codes and performance goals.
Contribute to sustainable design by integrating alternative energy sources into electrical systems.
Ensure design and documentation meet project, quality, and code compliance standards.
Utilize Revit as a primary design and coordination tool.
Mentor junior staff and act as a technical resource.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
3-10 years of experience in power systems design for healthcare, commercial, and/or government projects.
Professional licensure (or ability to obtain licensure) strongly preferred.
Experience with a consulting engineering or A/E firm.
In-depth knowledge of IECC, LEED, ASHRAE, NEC, and NFPA standards; familiarity with FGI Guidelines is a plus.
Proficiency in Revit.
Experience with electrical analysis tools such as SKM, Easy Power, or Helioscope.
Understanding of sustainable technologies relevant to modern electrical system design.
