C2 client, a global software company specializing in enterprise ecommerce solutions, seeks a full-time, direct hire Ecommerce Project Manager to support their Customer Onboarding and Success team. The Project Manager will play a key role in facilitating communication between internal teams and clients, ensuring successful implementations, and driving delivery excellence. They will also be responsible for managing timelines and deliverables, leading implementation projects, and serving as a strategic liaison between technical teams and client stakeholders.

Duration: Direct hire, full-time (40 hours/week)
Location: Hybrid – Milwaukee, WI area preferred
Compensation: $80,000–$110,000 salary + 10% company performance-based bonus

Job Description:
The Project Manager will join the Customer Onboarding and Success team, managing technical projects from kickoff through delivery. This role will require a strong background in ecommerce or SaaS software implementations, Agile methodologies, technical project leadership, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, organized planner, and problem-solver with a deep understanding of software development processes. They must be comfortable working in a startup-like, fast-paced environment where team members are expected to contribute at a high level, be accountable for results, and own their role from day one.
Responsibilities:
Drive alignment and clarity between offshore/onshore teams, ensuring global collaboration and momentum
Coach and lead with confidence—ensure client and team expectations are exceeded, not just met
Follow through relentlessly—own the success of each launch with a leadership mindset
Define project scope, schedule, and milestones with a focus on timely, high-quality delivery
Lead project meetings, status updates, and progress reporting
Build consultative relationship with clients, providing main point of contact role throughout the implementation process
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies, risks, and solutions
Provide ongoing direction and guidance during onboarding and upgrades
Monitor project plans and align deliverables with product roadmap changes
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to PMO best practices
Qualifications:
2+ years of project management experience in a software development or ecommerce environment
Passion for ecommerce or SaaS technology and process improvement
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and traditional PM methodologies
Must be highly accountable, organized, and credible with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Strong sense of ownership and initiative—able to confidently guide projects while flexing with change
Must be coachable, self-driven, and eager to learn
Comfortable working early morning hours (6–7 am starts are common) and with global teams across time zones
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
Technical acumen to engage with development teams and evaluate risks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across business and technical teams
Experience managing external client relationships and internal delivery teams
PMP or Scrum Master certification (preferred)
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (preferred)
