Instructional Designer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months with the possibility of an extension

We are seeking a talented and experienced Instructional Designer to join our Global Planning & Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming existing PowerPoint training materials into engaging, online, self-paced courses that can be integrated into our Learning Management System (LMS) and other training materials. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in instructional design, e-learning development, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand training objectives and content.

Design and develop interactive, online, self-paced courses based on existing PowerPoint training materials.

Ensure all courses are SCORM-compliant and compatible with our LMS.

Create engaging multimedia content, including videos, quizzes, and interactive activities.

Conduct needs assessments and learner analysis to tailor content to the target audience.

Review and revise course content based on feedback and performance data.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and e-learning development.

Proficiency in the Articulate 360 suite of programs (including Rise 360 & Storyline 360)

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM compliance.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to implement adult learning principles to create interesting and engaging self-paced training.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desired Characteristics:

Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.

Experience in the supply chain planning or other supply chain functions.

Knowledge of supply chain planning tools, especially Kinaxis Maestro (formerly Kinaxis RapidResponse)

Eligibility Requirements:

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

As a contractor, including remote contractors, you may be required to complete a background check.
