Inside Sales/Application Engineer – (Sensor Technology)
Location: Danbury, CT
At PMC-STS, we provide innovative sensing solutions used in a wide range of industries. We are seeking a technically oriented team player with a customer-focused mindset to support our sales processes and strengthen internal application support.
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintain active customer relationships and follow up on open offers
Respond to inquiries from customers, sales partners, and distributors regarding pricing, product information and application support
Recommend appropriate product configurations and prepare quotations
Manage incoming communication channels and ensure timely, professional responses
Maintain and update customer data, sales activities and technical documentation in our CRM system
Support reporting tasks and contribute to sales planning and forecasting
Cross-functional teamwork (Field Sales, Product Management, …)
Support order processing
Participation in trade shows as required
What We’re Looking For
Technical education or equivalent professional experience
Background in technical sales, customer service, or application support
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics
Independent, reliable, and well-organized working style
Familiarity with CRM tools (experience with HubSpot is an advantage)
Solid computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications
(Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
