Operations Manager (Calibration & Repair Lab)

Are you an experienced technical operations leader with a background in calibration and repair? We’re looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-performance commercial calibration and repair laboratory. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in complex environments, values customer satisfaction, and is ready to lead with innovation and initiative.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee daily lab operations across technical service, customer service, shipping & receiving, quality assurance, and logistics

Ensure all operations align with company goals and exceed customer expectations

Lead a team of supervisors and staff with a hands-on, mission-driven approach

Manage operational budgets and key variable expenses with full P&L responsibility

Enhance and expand accreditation scope (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025) as needed

Support strategic initiatives and special projects in collaboration with leadership

Maintain high levels of efficiency, technical accuracy, and asset utilization

What We’re Looking For:

10+ years in Calibration and Repair, including experience with Physical Dimensional, RF/Microwave, and general test equipment

PMEL or equivalent technical training preferred

4+ years leading technical teams or supervising operations

2+ years of hands-on P&L and budgeting experience

Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement
