Key Responsibilities
Collaborate Closely with Sales & Project Management: Partner with Sales Representatives, Customers and Project Managers to understand client needs and develop effective, eye-catching packaging solutions.
ArtiosCAD Design Mastery: Utilize your skills in ArtiosCAD (including parametric designs and 3D modeling) to create and refine corrugated displays and custom packaging designs that meet structural integrity and visual appeal standards.
Prototype Creation: Operate the Kongsberg CAD table to produce samples, ensuring designs are accurately translated into physical prototypes.
Detailed Record Keeping: Maintain precise documentation of project specifications, ensuring smooth handoffs and clarity throughout the design-to-production process.
Project Management Support: Coordinate with internal teams to develop production specifications for in-plant and in-store assembly, meeting strict timelines and quality expectations.
Problem-Solving: Tackle technical challenges with creative solutions and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve design, production, or customer issues.
Qualifications & Skills
Extensive Experience: Minimum of 5 years of structural design experience in retail POP displays and/or industrial packaging.
ArtiosCAD Expertise: Complete mastery of ArtiosCAD, including parametric design and ArtiosCAD 3D.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in CAD table operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, specifically with ESKO Kongsberg equipment.
TOPS Software Skills: Strong knowledge of TOPS palletization software and strength analysis to ensure designs meet structural and shipping requirements.
Microsoft Office Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Word and PowerPoint for creating detailed presentations and project documentation.
Great Communicator: Ability to convey technical details to customers and collaborate effectively with Sales and Production teams.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
