Sr. Embedded Software Engineering Manager

Overview

Lead the development of cutting-edge embedded software solutions for a next-generation infusion pump platform. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned engineering professional passionate about advancing healthcare technology and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of 10–15 software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.

Define project goals, timelines, and resource needs in collaboration with senior leadership to ensure successful execution and delivery.

Identify and mitigate technical risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Drive the creation of innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges using deep technical expertise across multiple domains.

Provide strategic direction and partner with cross-functional teams and project managers to ensure effective planning and execution.

Inspire and coach team members to deliver high-quality work on time, taking ownership of their contributions and professional growth.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 8+ years in software engineering.

Proven leadership in managing and scaling engineering teams.

Expertise in embedded systems development using C/C++, ideally within regulated industries.

JavaScript Object Notation(JSON) experience is desirable. Experience with Qt is desirable.

Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering complex software products.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.

Experience driving process efficiency, agility, and product quality.
