Financial services firm is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team. Seeking a candidate with 5+ years of administrative experience. Must have experience with invoices, billing, scheduling and some accounting exposure. Bachelor's degree is required.
Hybrid schedule: Onsite 4 days per week
Salary range: 70k - 85k base
Hours: 9am - 6pm
Responsibilities:
Maintain executive's calendar ensuring an organized daily schedule
Review and pay invoices within a timely manner
Communicate with outside vendors
Utilize accounting system to execute journal entries accurately and efficiently
Collaborate to ensure meticulous recording and classification of financial transactions
Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations between accounting system and statements
Take charge of processing and tracking payments
Coordinate internal/external meetings and travel
Maintain files and spreadsheets related to compliance documentation
Assume responsibility for office management tasks, as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of administrative experience within accounting or financial services
Understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Excel
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
