We're working with a well known multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm with a strong presence across the South-East and are one of the only employee owned firms in the region! They specialize in structural design, repair/restoration, forensic engineering and building enclosure consulting and have seen consistent year-on-year growth across the last 5 years.

They're seeking a Structural Engineer with concrete experience to join their growing team in Charlotte. You will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on repair and rehabilitation of constructed works, investigation, performance evaluation, and new design. You will be part of their concrete team specializing in the repair and restoration of parking garages across the state. This unique role offers you the chance to become a subject matter expert within a recession proof industry across structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform structural engineering design and calculations compliant industry codes and standards.

Oversee and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion.

Conduct structural investigations and develop remedial work options and costs.

Prepare and review analysis and design calculations, drawings, and specifications.

Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support.

Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.

Professional Engineering License.

Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in structural engineering - Including working with concrete.

Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE).

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
