Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Execute incoming inline and destructive metrology requests on state-of-the-art Focused Ion Beam - Scanning Electron Microscopes (FIB-SEM).
Maintain recipes, Best Known Methods (BKM), and enablement for automated FIB-STEM metrology at different process steps. Performs data quality analysis post characterization to validate recipe imaging criteria.
Coordinate with tech leads or peer engineers to plan and perform measurements for the characterization of different materials (semiconductors, metals, organic, and inorganic). The individual must be willing to suggest follow-up studies for advanced characterization, failure analysis, and reliability issues.
Develop, build documentation, and improve standard operating procedures for measurements and analysis methods needed to extract key metrics.
Use ASANA to monitor and track progress on incoming metrology requests.
Minimum QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or similar fields. Preferably Master of Science.
5+ years experience with a demonstrate expertise and depth in the areas of Electron Microscopy, review related characterization and metrology techniques.
Clean room and wafer-FAB processing experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of data-analysis and reporting.
Proficient in Python or Matlab
Strong detail-oriented work habits.
Knowledge of processes including deposition, etch, lithography, metrology, cleans.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $79000 /annum
Pay Range Maximum : $121000/annum

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
