Job Description:

HCL America is looking for a highly skilled Mobile App Tester to join our onsite team in Pleasanton, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile test automation using Appium and Java, a deep understanding of BLE technology, and a solid background in the Healthcare or medical device testing domain. Local candidates will be prioritized for this role.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements:

8+ years of experience in mobile app test automation using Appium and Java

Strong hands-on experience in iOS test automation

4+ years of cross-platform mobile app automation using Appium

Minimum 1 year of testing experience involving BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology

4+ years of experience working with Android Studio and Visual Studio (VS)

Strong knowledge of Git, including submodule management

At least 3 years of experience with Mobile MDM, App Store processes, and Mobile CI/CD pipelines

Familiarity with test agent creation, pipeline maintenance, and troubleshooting build failures

Cloud experience with Azure or AWS

Proficient in JIRA for tracking and managing test efforts

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience in the Healthcare industry or medical device testing domain is required
