Wholesale Director – Global

Soho- 4 Days in Showroom

Responsibilities:

Own the P&L of the department; accountable for achieving sales and margin goals.

Define and present sales and merchandising strategies to grow the business.

Forecast seasonally and up to 3-year growth plans. Allocate annual and seasonal targets by account and product category.

Plan to deliver on short- and long-term sales goals across all accounts.

Organize and oversee three sales markets annually.

Collaborate with internal teams to create master style lists—confirming sizes, materials, naming conventions, pricing, etc.

Create digital line sheets using various B2B systems; partner with marketing to develop look books.

Schedule and conduct sales appointments with current accounts and prospective clients—both in person and virtually.

Travel to trade shows as needed; discuss budgets, sell-thru, terms, exclusives, and follow up for final order approvals.

Work with CEO and Logistics Director to ensure minimums and targets are met; cut all final wholesale POs.

Leverage buyer and retailer feedback to identify growth opportunities for key items and categories.

Forecast sales reorders and evaluate new orders placed outside of market; balance on-hand inventory and write ATS orders.

Generate seasonal market reports summarizing financial performance, accounts, and product performance.

Monitor competitor landscape and market trends; recommend new strategies accordingly.

Collaborate with the Marketing Director on wholesale opportunities including social media, digital ads, in-store trunk shows, and events.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.

Minimum of 6 years of related sales experience, with established relationships at top-tier retailers.

Experience in swimwear and international markets is a plus.

Strong analytical and financial acumen, including retail math, KPI tracking, budgeting, and P&L management.

Solid merchandising and business development skills, including negotiation.

Ability to think strategically while being hands-on.

Self-motivated with high attention to detail.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work effectively in a small, fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
