We’re looking for a talented and experienced traffic/project manager to be part of a fast-growing, Atlanta-based ad agency that specializes in home improvement clients and ESG. You’ll ensure that all marketing and account services work flows efficiently through the creative and production departments, working collaboratively across multifunctional teams. You’ll be steady under pressure and touch every project at numerous points in the project life cycle. This role is responsible for coordinating resources, schedules and projects to ensure on-time, accurate and on-budget deliverables. You won’t just do work – you’ll impact our clients’ businesses and brands. This is a mix of organizing and scheduling the concept, design and strategy that’ll have you involved from start to finish on most projects, resulting in progressive, sophisticated, and appropriate designs and other amazing work. You must be agile and creative with an outstanding attention to detail.

Duties include managing internal traffic systems, creating schedules and tracking project progress, routing work for review and approval, archiving files and assets, and opening and closing projects. This position works closely with the account managers and designers to organize each job, set project milestones, create project timelines, and track schedules to ensure all deliverable deadlines are met on-time and on-brand.

We are currently on a schedule of three days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) in the office and two days (Thursday and Friday) remote work from home.

Responsibilities

Successfully organize and create detailed schedules of large and/or complex design assignments with minimal guidance, revising/changing as needed without sacrificing any creative integrity

Handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively to inevitable changes in timelines, deadlines and project goals, keeping everyone on task and projects on deadline

Work closely with account managers to organize and prioritize all elements of their projects

Collaborate with the team on the prioritization and scheduling of projects, including ensuring they are on-time, within scope, within budget and have an organized project workflow from initiation to final release

Think critically and be a part of strategic brainstorming sessions to ground creative decisions in the strategic directions that are established by the account services teams

Be able to present ideas both internally to peers and externally to clients, providing rationale for organizational and scheduling choices

Meet with agency leadership to learn more about new project details and give progress updates on existing projects, communicating any issues

Hold weekly production meetings with internal team

Proofread all files and print proofs to ensure content and color accuracy, including adherence to creative, technical and legal specifications

Be willing to jump in and help out other individuals/teams when needed, including providing additional project management support

Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing projects either from the client or agency side in advertising, marketing and design, with a total of 3–5+ years of working experience, with a focus on retail visual merchandising and/or brand management, project management or comparable experience with progressively expanding responsibilities

Advanced experience using Asana project management platform including creating workflows, assigning tasks, scheduling, tracking progress, and other aspects technical implementation

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or English; equivalent work experience will be considered, however, a degree is strongly preferred

Well-rounded knowledge of high conceptual- and executional-level print production, brand development, strategic planning and the design industry

Strong project management skills, including exceptional organizational and time-management ability

Detail-oriented with strong analytical, technical, multitasking and problem-solving skills

Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language; ability to communicate ideas to clients, vendors, team members, and others in a clear and concise manner

Strong proficiency with Word and Excel and general understanding of how graphic software (PDFs, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) works; proficiency in traffic management software is highly preferred

High standards of integrity and confidentiality; be able to adjust to multiple demands while achieving challenging objectives with intelligence and analysis
