We’re on the hunt for a Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) Specialist who thrives in hands-on environments and is excited to work on cutting-edge, experimental aircraft.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot custom instrumentation systems for experimental aircraft with meticulous attention to detail.

Collaborate closely with FTI engineers to develop advanced data acquisition setups, from sensor selection to integration, supporting key certification efforts.

Conduct rigorous pre- and post-test system checks and calibrations to ensure flawless data capture.

Assist with post-flight data processing and help drive proactive risk assessment and mitigation.

️ What You Bring:

Bachelor’s in Engineering + 8 years of experience, or Master’s + 6 years.

️ Minimum 5 years of hands-on flight test instrumentation experience in the aerospace sector.

️ Deep technical expertise in complex aircraft systems and configuration management.

Proven skills in installing and calibrating various flight test sensors, including strain gauges, accelerometers, thermocouples, and VDTs.

Strong proficiency in building connector assemblies, wiring harnesses, and managing airborne telemetry systems.

Experience instrumenting full aircraft systems from the ground up, including involvement in certification processes.

Bonus: Familiarity with battery-powered aircraft, unmanned systems, or autonomy technologies.

️ Extra Bonus: Experience with Safran XMA tools and working with regulatory bodies (FAA, TCCA, EASA).
