We handle a variety of work orders ranging from home repairs and renovations to service calls and rental property maintenance. Job Description:
The Handyman will be responsible for completing general maintenance, repairs, and light construction tasks. Jobs may include drywall patching, painting, light plumbing and electrical work, door and window repairs, flooring, and other common residential repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to assigned work orders and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Perform basic carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues independently
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and other technicians
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Complete service call reports and document materials used
Requirements:
• Prior experience in construction, general maintenance, or similar roles
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Basic tool set and reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
• Must be punctual, reliable, and professional
Preferred Skills (but not required):
• HVAC knowledge
• Appliance repair experience
• Framing and light structural repairs
Compensation:
• Starting at $16/hour for the first 6 weeks (training/probation)
• Pay reviewed after 6 weeks based on skill and performance
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday with flexible hours
• Occasional weekend or emergency jobs as needed
