Position Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead high-impact technology initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing and supply chain environment. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong foundation in SAP systems—preferably SAP ByDesign or S/4HANA—combined with project management excellence, process mapping experience, and cross-functional team leadership. The successful candidate will manage timelines, resources, risks, and communication to drive projects to successful completion.
This is a fully onsite role in Garland, TX, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, boots-on-the-ground setting.
What You’ll Do
Project Leadership & Execution
Drive end-to-end project execution, from planning through delivery, with a focus on supply chain and manufacturing technology systems
Define project scope, build schedules, assign tasks, and monitor milestones
Proactively manage resources, risks, and dependencies to keep projects on track
Technical & Process Oversight
Work closely with technical teams on SAP-related initiatives (SAP ByDesign/S/4HANA), ensuring alignment with operational goals
Support process design and mapping efforts for logistics and manufacturing workflows
Assist with the development of training and documentation deliverables
Stakeholder & Communication Management
Act as the central communication hub between business and technical stakeholders
Prepare and lead weekly project updates and executive presentations
Maintain detailed project documentation, process flows, and dashboards
Budget & Vendor Management
Track budgets, manage vendor invoices, and ensure financial alignment with project goals
Provide timely financial reporting and reconciliation to stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Demonstrated experience managing technical projects, ideally in manufacturing or supply chain settings
Solid working knowledge of SAP ByDesign or SAP S/4HANA (required or strongly preferred)
Skilled in project scheduling, process documentation, and risk mitigation
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues for diverse audiences
Familiar with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira)
Experience tracking project budgets and reconciling vendor invoices
Nice to Have
Exposure to manufacturing operations or process improvement initiatives
Business analysis experience, including process documentation and stakeholder interviews
PMP or similar certification
