Role Overview
We’re hiring a Business Development & Marketing Associate to accelerate our growth. This role combines inside sales, marketing operations, and event outreach into a high-impact position that will fuel pipeline, generate leads, and build brand awareness. You’ll be working directly with sales leadership and our creative team to generate opportunities and drive measurable results.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Development
Proactively source and qualify leads via outbound campaigns, cold calls, email, and events.
Schedule discovery calls and on-site demos for Account Executives.
Identify customer pain points and communicate how Oculens + Verkada can solve them.
Collaborate with AEs to ensure high-quality handoffs and pipeline accuracy in Salesforce.Marketing & Campaigns
Support execution of demand generation campaigns (email, direct mail, webinars, etc.).
Manage and grow marketing automation lists, ensuring data cleanliness and segmentation.
Coordinate pre-event communications, RSVPs, and post-event follow-up workflows.
Track ROI of campaigns, site assessments, and events.Events & Outreach
Support event planning and execution for trade shows, info sessions, and customer events.
Coordinate logistics, materials, and setup for regional roadshows and on-site activations.
Assist in lead capture and follow-up strategies for all field and virtual events.Reporting & CRM
Maintain accurate lead, contact, and opportunity data in Salesforce.
Generate reports and dashboards to track outreach, meetings, and revenue influence.
Ensure marketing attribution and pipeline influence are documented and measured.Ideal Qualifications
0–2 years experience in sales development, marketing operations, or event support.
Self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva or similar tools is a plus.
Confident making outbound calls and conducting high-level conversations with prospects.
Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to learn.
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.Benefits
