Preconstruction Manager

Our client a leading Commercial general contractor based in Dallas, TX are looking to grow their team with a Preconstruction Manager. The company focus on commercial projects ranging from $10M - $50M with a specialism of K12 ground up projects.

The Preconstruction Manager will be responsible for estimating and determining budgets, conceptual pricing, and overall costs of new and existing construction projects and building a small team.

Responsibilities:

Verify material quantities

Relationship maintenance with client and vendor

Prepare detailed cost estimates and conceptual estimates for new projects

Develop competitive bids for new work

Subcontractor vetting

Provide cost reduction ideas

Build relationships with contractors and assess market conditions

Qualifications:

B.A. or B.S.in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or equivalent experience

5+ years of estimating experience on commercial projects ideally K12

Proficient use of estimating software

Compensation:

$130,000 - $150,000 base salary

Up to 20% bonus
