Process Engineer

Process/Production Engineer opportunity at a chemical plant operated by an international producer. They have a leading market position in the US. You will take ownership of a chemical production unit to optimize its performance and manage key process variables to drive process and product improvements with a continual EHS mindset. The company develops its engineers through advancement and "grow in place" opportunities. They offer a generous profit share and the 9/80 schedule.

Develop and implement sustainable systems to improve the performance of the unit.

Train and coach operations personnel

Track KPI's in rates, reliability, cost and quality

Determine root causes and take corrective action for variances in quality, capacity, energy use

Provide training to less experienced engineers

Participate and/or lead unit improvement teams

Develop initial scope and the economic case for improvements projects

Develop and monitor operational procedures and best practices.

Define process conditions needed to produce new or upgrade

Assist in the investigation and resolution of out of spec materials and customer complaints
