Job Opportunity: Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.)

Location: The Woodlands, Texas

We are seeking a qualified and innovative Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.) with experience in the design of public works projects, including electric power, roadway, drainage, water distribution, and wastewater collection.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the planning, design, and construction administration of electric infrastructure facilities and projects.

Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation, and assessment for utility infrastructure projects.

Prepare detailed reports.

Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Analyze processes based on field investigations, drawings, and specifications, and perform necessary calculations.

Review and prepare federal, state, and local permit applications.

Perform construction observation and field engineering services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

3-5 years of experience, preferably in a consulting engineering environment focused on infrastructure facilities and projects.

P.E. license in the State of Texas is required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct effective client presentations and prepare comprehensive written reports.

Experience working with utility clients.

Progressive experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction administration of infrastructure improvements.

Physically able to perform work in the field.

Construction observation experience is a plus.

Detail-oriented team player with strong planning and organizational skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard engineering software.
