What makes a candidate stand out:
MA or PHD with lab experience
Experience building or working on equipment in a laboratory setting
Comfortable working hands on with lab equipment
BA candidates considered if they have internship experience or a strong hobbyist background (building engines, using 3D printers at home)
Creative mindset and experience working with timelines
Custom automation or related capital equipment background is acceptable
Ability to support design solutions through engineering calculations while utilizing cost effective methods Working knowledge of PCB layout and cable design
Previous background supporting comprehensive understanding of motion and thermal controls, RF and DC high power components and EMI/RFI shielding
In depth knowledge of industry standards, such as: Semi S2/S8, CE, NEC, etc.
