AWS Production Engineer

Our client, a large e-commerce platform, offering a wide variety of products through online and physical stores, is looking for someone to join their team as an AWS Production Engineer. This role is onsite in Austin, Texas.

*This is a 6 month W2 contract*

In this role, you will collaborate with other experienced and senior software engineers to drive improvements to the client's technology, design and develop new customer facing products and interfaces, and build and track metrics to ensure high quality results.

Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Spring Framework

Experience building APIs with GraphQL

Strong background with AWS or other cloud-based infrastructure

Solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and CI/CD pipelines

Experience designing and operating scalable, distributed systems

What You Will Be Doing

Build scalable software product to solve business problems

End-to-end project delivery including design, coding, testing and release

Software development

Daily scrum

Weekly team meetings and tech discussions

Biweekly sprint planning

On call rotations

Occasional team social, org events, lab visits, and site visits
