Pay Range: $60 - $75/hour or $124k - $156k a year; based on experience and qualifications.

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of advanced avionics display systems. This long-term W2 contract position involves designing both graphics and logic using SCADE modeling tools and C/C++ in a safety-critical, real-time environment. You'll contribute to the next generation of aerospace technologies with a focus on innovation, reliability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement embedded software for avionics display systems using SCADE for graphics and C/C++ for application logic.
Perform integration and testing of software on target hardware.
Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams in an Agile development environment.
Ensure software is developed in accordance with DO-178C and A661 standards.
Develop robust, high-performance solutions for real-time, safety-critical systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
7+ years of experience in embedded software engineering with a focus on avionics displays and logic development.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
Hands-on experience with SCADE modeling tools (required).
Experience with DO-178C and A661 standards.
At least 6 years of experience in integration and testing on target embedded hardware.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with additional languages/tools such as Python and OpenGL.
Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Prior background in aerospace, avionics, or embedded systems development.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and development methodologies.

Flight Management & Planning
Primary Flight Displays (PFD)
Flight Controls
Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS)
Crew Alert Messaging (CAS)
Terrain Awareness Systems
