Title: Sr Network Admin
Duration: 6 Months + Contract to Hire
Location: Fort worth, Texas
Job Description:
The role of the Senior Network Administrator is to ensure that communication, hardware, and software systems are maintained across the Client affiliates. This includes all internal networks, remote connectivity and mobile devices. Additional duties include the management and resolution of IT help desk tickets, hardware and software deployment and specific projects as required by IT management, including the oversight of the Company’s Helpdesk Support Analysts.
Essential Functions:
Oversight and development of more junior members of the Helpdesk and Network Administration teams.
Windows server administration including Active Directory.
Microsoft 365 system administration & support.
Administration for the following-WAN, Azure system, UCaaS & Cisco Meraki
Assembling new systems.
Developing and maintaining support documentation.
Managing administrative duties and ticket documentation effectively and in a proactive way.
Maintaining existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete.
Monitoring computer networks and systems to identify how performance can be improved.
Implementing security response plans to handle both internal and external security threats.
Advise on tools, best practice techniques and methodologies that enhance the organization’s infrastructure.
Completing all assigned projects on time and to a high standard.
Ensuring the communication systems are fully operational across all facilities within the region.
Ensuring all problems are communicated sufficiently and on a timely basis to all affected parties.
Proactively working to identify risks, categorize them and provide suitable solutions.
Training IT staff on Shoppa’s procedures and best practices

Educational/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Computer/Data Science, Statistics; Master’s degree preferred
Experience with MS NAV, PowerBI, BI-Business Intelligence, Microsoft Dynamics, ERP, Reporting, Business Analytics, ETL
Well versed in the MS Data & Reporting Platform (Azure, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS)
Advanced Excel skills
Min. 5+ years exp. in utilizing database software to manipulate data, generate reports and analyze data
Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to work in a team environment
Self-motivated & analytical with ability to work in a collaborative, agile team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities
