IT Application Specialist

Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve IT applications such as production, payroll, ERP, and other business systems.

Provide technical support to end users, ensuring smooth system functionality and addressing issues promptly.

Develop, maintain, and enforce IT policies and procedures across the organization.

Collaborate with internal IT teams and align with corporate headquarters for system updates and improvements.

Assist in project planning, including budgeting, cost/benefit analysis, and scheduling for IT initiatives.

Troubleshoot system performance issues, ensuring efficient operations.

Monitor IT system performance and maintain records of users, applications, and licensing.

Requirements:

Bachelorâ s degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred â OR 3+ years of direct experience in IT support, database management, and troubleshooting.

Proficiency with MS SQL, DB2, or other database management tools.

Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into IT solutions that balance quality, cost, and delivery time.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and clearly articulate technical issues and solutions.

Experience with Cisco networking, VMWare, Veeam, or Windows Server.

Familiarity with Fortinet, SolarWinds, Genetec, or IT project planning tool.

Pay Rate:

$70,000 - $75,000/Annually
