Job Title: Lead Warehouse Associate

Location: Martinsville, VA

Pay: $17.50/hour

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Thursday

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Warehouse Associate with strong experience in woodworking and crate building. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in warehouse operations and demonstrate leadership in a team-oriented environment. This role requires hands-on experience with forklifts, tape measurements, and the ability to construct crates and pallets accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and support a team of warehouse associates to ensure efficient workflow

· Operate forklifts safely and effectively

· Accurately read and interpret tape measurements

· Cut wood and build custom crates and pallets to specifications

· Measure and pack materials for shipment

· Ensure high-quality packaging and crating of products

· Promote a positive, team-first environment and assist coworkers as needed

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Qualifications:

· 5 to 10 years of experience in woodworking, crate building, or similar

· Proven forklift operation experience (certification a plus)

· Strong skills using tape measures and basic hand tools

· Ability to build custom crates and pallets with precision

· Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills

· Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
