Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance (or higher)

Duration: Permanent, Direct Hire

Salary Range: $120-150,000 (negotiable based on experience) Summary:

Verigent's client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team at Fairchild AFB. This role supports the operation, maintenance, and optimization of critical classified network infrastructure in a dynamic, mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with both Cisco and Juniper technologies and thrive in a high-security, highly collaborative military environment. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support secure enterprise-level network solutions across classified and unclassified environments

• Maintain and optimize Juniper and Cisco network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security compliance

• Configure and manage network monitoring and access control systems, including Forescout and Junos Space

• Provide Tier III support, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex network issues

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure network compliance with DoD standards

• Document network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures

• Participate in network architecture reviews, capacity planning, and risk assessments Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance or higher

• 6+ years of networking experience preferred

• CCNP Enterprise certification (formerly Routing & Switching)

• JNCIA certification or higher

• Security+ certification (or DoD 8570 equivalent)

• Hands-on experience with Juniper infrastructure, Forescout, and Junos Space

• Demonstrated experience working within and supporting classified network environments
