Now offering a $10K sign-on bonus, this position seeks a competent nurse with experience in similar clinical settings. The nurse practices independently, providing routine and complex cardiac care, including long-term planning and managing contingencies.

The role involves caring for cardiac patients post-intervention (stent, pacemaker, angiograms), Watchman, and Mitraclip procedures, as well as those with CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, pre-CABG, and vascular issues.

The unit is fast-paced with 27 beds, managing cardiac drips and medical-surgical overflow from the ER, with strong teamwork and focus on high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process, addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administering medications, documenting care, and providing patient and family education.

Qualifications include a BSN preferred, 1+ year experience preferred, BLS, RN license, ACLS within 6 months, and EKG within 90 days. The role is full-time.
