The Nurse provides independent, comprehensive care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations.
Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) and evidence-based practice.
Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs; administers medications and treatments safely; documents care accurately.
Assesses learning needs, educates patients and families, and manages long-term goals.
Plans for patient throughput, manages unit operations, and ensures safety and quality care in compliance with regulations.
Maintains health information documentation, ensures equipment functionality, and processes medical orders correctly.
Interprets patient charts, recognizes safety issues, and participates in quality improvement activities.
Qualifications include a BSN preferred, at least 1-year nursing experience, BLS certification, and an RN license. This is a per diem position with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
