A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
They prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and ancillary nursing activities while upholding professional standards.
The nurse provides both direct and indirect care to patients.
Requirements include being a graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent, with preferred six (6) months of experience.
A current RN license or permit to practice in Louisiana is necessary, along with BLS certification from the American Heart Association within two weeks of employment.
Work schedule is night shift (7PM-7AM), and the position is PRN.
