The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers patient care tailored to the specific age group on assigned units, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in line with organizational standards.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current New Mexico or Compact RN license.
BLS certification required within 2 weeks; other certifications within 6 months, maintaining existing credentials.
Possesses current knowledge of patient care practices, communicates effectively, and respects patient rights.
Works under supervision of the Patient Care Director or Manager, in a clean, well-lit environment with exposure to infectious hazards.
Requires physical ability for emergency response, prolonged standing, transferring patients, and manual dexterity; able to see, hear, and judge distances appropriately.
