Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in New Mexico or a Compact state.
BLS certification needed within 2 weeks of hire; other certifications must be obtained within 6 months and maintained thereafter.
Possesses current knowledge of patient care, communicates effectively across developmental stages, and respects patient rights.
Supervised by the Patient Care Director or Manager; works in environments with exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases.
Must handle emergency situations, perform physical tasks involving patient handling, and operate in a flexible schedule. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and good vision and hearing.
