Description:
The Nurse, with experience in a similar clinical setting, practices independently, managing routine and complex care while planning for long-term goals.
Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations and delegates appropriately to team members.
Provides nursing care based on the ANA standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
Documents patient history, symptoms, and care provided.
Educates patients, families, and caregivers, assessing learning needs and available resources.
Requires a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience, BLS certification, and an active RN license in the state or a compact license.
