The GI Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical interventions.
Utilizes current clinical knowledge and nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Ensures effective communication among patients, staff, physicians, anesthesia providers, and hospital departments.
Provides safe, efficient, and quality care tailored to patients' developmental stages (infant to older adults).
Supports the hospital's mission, core values, and strategic goals, participating actively in performance improvement initiatives.
Requires one year of recent GI setting experience preferred, willingness to accept call, Louisiana RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Work schedule is TBD, with a per diem, as-needed basis.
