Performs echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures independently or under physician supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort.

Requires graduation from an approved medical sonography program, with at least one year of ultrasound experience or equivalent education.

Skills needed include analytical problem solving, technical knowledge, computer proficiency, and strong communication. Ability to work independently and in teams is essential.

Must hold relevant licensure/certification (PE/RDCS/RDMS, AE/RDCS/RDMS, RCS/CCI/RVS, ARDMS, RVT) before starting, with BLS certification within 90 days. Preferred: Echo registry within 1 year of graduation or 2 years of cross-training.
