Speech Language Pathologist

The Nurse independently practices in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.

Demonstrates competency in nursing standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs; administers medications and treatments; documents care accurately.

Educates patients and families, assesses learning needs, and ensures safety and quality care.

Utilizes critical thinking, communicates effectively, and coordinates patient flow, discharge, and unit operations.

Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, promotes safety, and participates in quality improvement activities.

Requires RN license, BLS, and relevant certifications; experience in perinatal care preferred; certification in fetal monitoring, ACLS, and NRP within specified timeframes.

Per Diem as needed, with orientation and ongoing competency validation.
