Lead Veterinarian

All pharmacy technicians work under pharmacist supervision to deliver compassionate and efficient pharmacy services.

Responsibilities include preparing medication orders, verifying patient records, compounding non-sterile pharmaceuticals, issuing controlled substances, maintaining accurate records, and serving in specialty areas like operating room or ambulatory care.

Clinical duties involve ensuring safe, cost-effective drug therapies, interpreting medical records, reporting adverse reactions, and participating in quality improvement activities.

Must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and be a registered pharmacy technician; certification is preferred.

Pharmacy experience is preferred, and ongoing competency, licensure, and CE requirements must be maintained.

Work involves potential exposure to hazardous substances, sharps, and biologic materials, with proper safety protocols essential.

This full-time position requires adherence to applicable competencies and safety standards.
