The Respiratory Therapist (RT) provides high-quality patient care by coordinating with the care team, performing evaluations, and implementing treatment plans.
Responsibilities include equipment setup, instruction, maintenance, and traveling to patient homes or facilities to deliver and check equipment.
RT assists in planning patient care, reads physician orders, and educates patients and caregivers on equipment use.
Performs follow-up assessments, maintains and sterilizes equipment, and manages supplies.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Requires completion of a respiratory therapy program, NBRC registration, and a valid OR license or ability to obtain one.
Preferred candidates have 2+ years of clinical experience, home health experience, and a clean driving record.
