The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting physicians, administering medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds, and monitoring vital signs.
Maintains patient records and participates in care planning as a primary, associate, or team leader.
Ensures safe aseptic techniques and offers leadership to support staff.
Work on a 27-bed unit caring for cardiac patients post-intervention, with conditions like heart failure, MI, and peripheral vascular issues.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, with preferred one-year experience.
Must hold a current Texas RN license, CPR certification, and obtain ACLS within 6 months and EKG within 90 days.
