The competent Nurse practices independently within a similar clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Delegates appropriately to care team members to ensure effective patient management.
Meets competency expectations in self-leadership, team leadership, and organizational leadership.
Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—to deliver patient care.
Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs in accordance with their practice level.
Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors outcomes, and documents patient information comprehensively.
Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers, identifying learning needs and available resources.
Job Requirements:
Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing; 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.
Required BLS certification; RN license in the state of employment or compact license.
Work Type:
Per Diem As Needed, not exceeding 950 characters.
