Seeking Pediatric Emergency Medicine Advanced Practitioner

Provides continuous electronic monitoring of patients' cardiac rhythms in a centralized telemetry station, recognizing normal and abnormal patterns.

Documents rhythm changes promptly and reports them per protocol, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.

Maintains monitoring equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness and proper functioning, including pulse oximetry if required.

Performs clerical tasks related to medical records, logs readings, alarms, and reports deviations.

Communicates effectively with nurses, physicians, patients, and families, maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA.

Ensures equipment is clean, operational, and reports malfunctions promptly.

Requires a high school diploma, good communication skills, and completion of an EKG class within 90 days; BLS certification preferred.

Experience in EKG/arrhythmia interpretation and medical terminology is highly preferred.

This is a per diem role with no more than 950 characters.
