This full-time exempt role involves providing palliative care consultations to patients with serious illnesses across various settings in western NC, including homes, facilities, outpatient clinics, and hospitals. Responsibilities include symptom management, patient education, care coordination, maintaining records, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings. Requirements include a master’s or doctorate degree, current NP or PA certification, NC license, DEA registration, and clinical experience, preferably in palliative care. The position demands excellent communication, organization, and teamwork, with some on-call responsibilities and travel between locations.
