Summary:
Provides patient care under supervision of physicians or registered nurses, following established standards and practices.
Performs lab procedures, including phlebotomy, and assists with examinations and treatments.
Handles patient communication, schedules tests, documents information, and assists with medication refills.
Administers medications and immunizations per provider orders.
Cleans, restocks exam rooms, maintains equipment, and orders supplies.
Completes clerical duties such as charting, filing, and forms.
Attends training sessions and performs additional assigned duties.
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
Previous medical office experience preferred.
Valid state nursing license and current BLS certification.
