Mobile Optometrist - Bonus

An Indian Health Service facility in Tohatchi, NM, is seeking a family medicine physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage.

The position is full-time, requiring a 40-hour workweek with clinic hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with mornings reserved for administrative tasks.

The role involves primary care duties for a patient load of 8-15 patients per day.

It is an outpatient clinic assignment with no call requirement.

Dates needed are from August and ongoing.

Board certification is negotiable, but prescriptive authority is required.

The patient population includes all ages, supported by full staff.

This is a day shift position with no government affiliation.
