Description:
The RN Per Diem (RN PD) is responsible for delivering quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, evaluation, and documentation, while demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.
They coordinate patient teaching, safety initiatives, and support other health team members, maintaining professional standards.
Must complete annual competencies, participate in departmental initiatives, and submit a professional portfolio by March 1st.
Requires Associates Degree in Nursing, two years RN experience, active RN license, and BLS certification; BSN preferred.
Competent in caring for diverse patient populations, utilizing the nursing process, and maintaining reliable communication.
Additional certifications are preferred, and licensure must align with Virginia regulations.
