Responsible for adult, pediatric, and neonatal pulmonary care under physician supervision, performing technical and diagnostic respiratory procedures across hospital areas.
Meets competency expectations in self-leadership, team leadership, and emergency response.
Performs airway management, aerosolized drug delivery, ventilator setup, blood gas analysis, EKG, and chest film review.
Manages airway devices, oxygen therapy, and therapeutic monitoring; participates in CAP and JC surveys.
May serve as Shift or Team Leader; advanced skills include pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy support, hemodynamic and waveform analysis, and polysomnography.
Requires RCP license, BLS, and CRT certification; 2-3 years of experience preferred.
