Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

The RN II in the SURG TELEMETRY STEP-DOWN department is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation.

Maintains professional communication, teamwork, leadership, and documentation standards.

Coordinates patient teaching, safety initiatives, and supports health team activities.

Completes mandatory and unit-specific competencies, participates in peer review, and assumes charge nurse responsibilities.

Requires ADN or ASN, with BSN preferred, and a valid RN license.

Must have BLS certification; specialty certifications are advantageous.

Provides care aligned with human development stages, utilizing the nursing process.
