1st Shift Fabricator

Cardinal Staffing is currently looking for a 1st Shift Fabricator in Taylor, MI!

Payrate: $20 per hour Shift Time: 7AM-4PM

The Fabricator is responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications. This role requires the use of various tools and equipment such as welders, grinders, cutters, and blueprints to ensure precision and quality in fabrication projects.Key Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine fabrication requirements.

Cut, bend, and assemble metal components using manual and power tools.

Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding to join metal parts and structures.

Operate fabrication equipment including shears, brakes, presses, and saws.

Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

Maintain tools and equipment and follow all safety protocols.

Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to meet production goals.

Document work processes and report issues or defects to supervisors.Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding or fabrication preferred.

Proven experience as a fabricator or in a similar manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Proficient in welding, grinding, cutting, and measuring techniques.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
